For this semester am going to write about the Red Indians. I don't know much about them and because of that I don't know what to write about my assumptions. I do hear some people say, Red Indians drink a lot and have high mortality rate. I don't want offend anybody here.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your post about Red Indians, also known as "Native Americans". When doing research on this population, you will need to use the terms "native Americans" or "American Indians" to find the most current information abut them.
I believe that you will find a lot of information on Native Americans during IM 204. As Native Americans make up a pretty large, diverse group of people, as you do background research on Native Americans you should narrow down the topic for your semester research project to be a success. We will go over how to do that in class, so don't worry. :)

Native Americans were called Red Indians back in history...if you searched for books using those terms, they either might be out of date, or talking about sports mascots, or presenting information that may be biased against Native Americans. For the heck of it, you can do a search for "red Indians" and see what you find, compared to searching for "Native Americans" or "American Indians".
